So the new Phoenix album leaked online a few days ago and I got my hands on it. its fucking awesome if you are a fan of french indie-pop. it is a great spring time record and I am sure everyone will be going nuts over it. I think that I listened to it 6 times yesterday and it gets better with every listen. anywho, if the 3 of you are interested send me a message and I will try to send you the link if its still up. word. Also half of the anchor bar staff is in manhattan for the weekend so I think I may get black out drunk.

so I just stumbled across this site and I think that you all need to check it out. www.badpaintingsofbarackobama.com you have to spend about 5 minutes to get throught them all but it is terrible worth it. The taco ones are my favorites.

An Ode to Detroit

I have always been a supporter of the city of detroit for as long as I can remember. Even though it has always been a bombed out warzone there has been some sort of perverse charm to the city. At one point is was a bustling “beautiful” city and I have always want to see it return to it. I found these photo essays that are pretty depressing and cool. check em out. the one of the old theatre is amazing. I wish I had like 600 dollars to buy some of these buildings.

yo! first things first I watched Rad the movie on the spanish channel (1 of 3 spanish channels on the antenna). this station shows the best 80’s movies late at night and I find myself watching them all the time.
